Long Live Bananas
So often just when I decide to have a delicious wholesome treat, I reach into the fruit bowl and what do I find? A clump of soggy over-ripened bananas too soft and sweet for anything other than a banana bread recipe.
If you prefer not to fire up the oven to save your investment, here is a simple money-saving tip. When you get home from the grocery store and creatively place your bananas on the dish, make sure to seperate them first. This retards the ripening process and keeps your bananas firmer longer.
